All female noisy five-piece pop punk gang PINS from Manchester released their second, much praised, album ‘Wild Nights’ (recorded in sunny California) last June.
A sparkling and fully charged cocktail of sharp, electrifying, barbed wire pop cuts with first single ‘Young Girls’ revealing their dark side. A song about being trapped in a boring town and longing for something more, and its big epiphany is “wouldn’t it be fun to kill someone?”. Definitely badass stuff.
Next Thursday (24 September) I’ll see the band playing live in Brussels with San Diego’s psychedelic popsters Crocodiles . Judging by their energetic studio performance for Seattle’s Radio KEXP a couple of months ago, I’m sure Belgian’s capital will go down.
Hear here why..
And here’s the excellent ‘Wild Nights’ in full…
