THE GOA EXPRESS – Back To The Future With Turbulent Psych Slam ‘GOA’…

Sonic havoc that thrills us in a way we want to scream out loud…

This young British collective hide a huge record collection in a dark, dusty basement of
one of the members’ grandparents. All long-players are hidden under a giant ‘only the very best of sixties psychedelic garage rock’ banner and I bet they know each and
every LP by heart, from start to finish and back, including glorious noise from The Sonics, The 13th Floor Elevators, Iron Butterfly, MC5 and so much more cool motherrockers from, probably, the most creative decade ever in sonic history. A few weeks ago they released
a double AA single containing the tracks ‘GOA‘ and ‘Kiss Me’. I already reviewed the latter
on our weekly Seven In The Mix! But now it’s GOA time as the band just launched a
mind-surfing video to visualize the short and brawny thwack. It sounds like it should.
Rusty, vinyl-y, loud, boisterous, and completely 1967 with 2017 clip colors. THE GOA EXPRESS likes to visit the past in order to return to the future with burning crackers
like this one. Press the button and start clapping your hands right now, right here…
