MANIC STREET PREACHERS Go Widescreen On French Riviera Clip For New Single ‘INTERNATIONAL BLUE’…

Clips that will impress your eyes and your ears…

VivaVideo

MANIC STREET PREACHERS‘ new clip for monumental single INTERNATIONAL BLUE, described by Nick Wire as “a European ‘Motorcycle Emptiness’ as a video, rather than
being in Japan”, shot by Manics‘ longtime visual collaborator Kieran Evans is a tribute
to legendary French artist Yves Klein (1928-1962) a pioneer of performance art and a forerunner of minimal art, as well as pop art. He was from the city of Nice, the beautiful town at the French Riviera. And as I spend my summer holidays, for several years now, in
a small village near Nice, this beautiful widescreen video makes me long (again) for that impressive creation of nature, the Mediterranean Sea aka the Côte d’Azur. Once there at
the beach looking at that big blue wonder, you just feel nostalgic, romantic and happy. Best therapy you can get…

The band has also revealed the tracklist for upcoming album RESISTANCE IS FUTILE:

People Give In
International Blue
Distant Colours
Vivian
Dylan & Caitlin
Liverpool Revisited
Sequels Of Forgotten Wars
Hold Me Like A Heaven
In Eternity
Broken Algorithms
A Song for The Sadness
The Left Behind
