Only the greats can fill a jukebox with memorable moments…

PIXIES are without a shadow of a doubt one of the most influential bands ever.
Their famous loudQuietloud approach, their stop/start turbulence, their barbwire
punk explosiveness inspired countless new as well as plenty of established bands.
This rowdy 4-piece redefined kick-ass noise rock with a big bang. Their rumbustious combination of a whacking rhythm section (drummer David Lovering and gigantic bassist Kim Deal), fantabulous guitar electricity (Joey Santiago) and a most trenchant vox (Black Francis) resulted in a crushing sound with a sharp ear for melodious grandeur and magnetizing choruses. Also, the intertwining male/female vocals/harmonies injected
many of their massive crackers with a kind of glamorous pigment. Legends forever…
