On 8 September 1968 – a half-century ago – THE BEATLES made a legendary appearance on British TV show ‘Frost On Sunday‘ to play their then newest bestseller single HEY JUDE which was released, shortly before, on 30 August. The timeless song is a ballad written by Paul McCartney for John Lennon‘s son Julian, during his parents’ divorce. The TV rendition became a classic Beatles momentum over the years (more than 120 million views on YouTube). The performance starst with the fab four fooling around followed by host Froster‘s introducing the Liverpool icons as “the greatest tea-room orchestra in the world“. C’mon, let’s all go Na-Na-Na-Na-Na-Na
