Former The Smiths guitar hero JOHNNY MARR who played also in such bands as Modest Mouse, The Pretenders, The The, Electronic (with New Order’s Bernard Sumner) and still enjoys a successful solo career, has a new book out, named MARR’S GUITARS on 23 October 2023.

It traces Marr’s career from his teenage years to his recent work on the Bond soundtrack. Marr’s Guitars showcases the most significant of his superb collection of electric and acoustic guitars, revealing through them the evolution of his iconic sound and style of playing. Each guitar is identified with a crucial moment, a specific song or a particular sound.
