hits in the colorful sixties. One of them is timeless tune MONDAY MONDAY
about that awful first day of the week.

It topped the US Singles Charts 57 years ago today, on 8 May 1966.
The first song with a day of the week in the title that was at #1.

Also #1 in Canada and South Africa, and #3 in the UK.
