The Kinks‘ eight LP was a satirical concept album attacking the media, the music industry
and its publishers, business managers and more of Ray Davies‘s enemies. It was both
a critical and commercial triumph for the legendary song/wordsmith and his companions. The longplayer was released 50 years ago, on 27th November 1970.

To celebrate the event an expanded and remastered 50th Anniversary Edition
will see the day of light on 4th December. A deluxe 10” slipcased book pack, containing a
60 -page book, 3 x cds, 2 x 7” singles, 4 x colour prints, and on black heavyweight gatefold vinyl, 2CD and 1CD formats.
