M. Shawn Crahan, better known as CLOWN of crazy metal masks SLIPKNOT
seems to have enough of his band’s nuclear noise (for the time being). A week
or two ago he shared some electro/ambient/industrial sound sketches under
his solo moniker BRAINWASH LOVE accompanied by creepy video clips. Watch
and listen here.

And our CLOWN keeps on tripping with
two other nightmares. Feel weird here…

ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION – Deluxe Edition Of Last Year’s Acclaimed ‘ACCESS DENIED’ Album Out Now

28 June 2021

Band: ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION
Who: Outspoken and genuine London collective
mixing rapcore, dub, dancehall, ragga, and South
Asian music.
Active: Since 1993 / 10 studio albums (so far)

DELUXE EDITION – 2 LPs – of last year’s critically
praised ACCESS DENIED was released on Record Store Day (12 June).

Press Statement: “The RSD version of Asian Dub Foundation’s latest album “Access Denied”
is being compiled in the wake of the band’s collaboration with comedian Stewart Lee “Comin’ Over Here” unexpectedly hitting No.1 in the official UK Sales chart during the week the UK finally left the European Union. The tune was able to a raise a defiant cheer from a lot of people that have been disgusted by Brexit and its accompanying anti-immigrant rhetoric, and the rest of
the album builds extensively on this theme.

Also, expect two brand new remixes digidub style by Panda Dub and Manudigital and a new version of the album artwork specially designed for the RSD edition. It’s great to be able to re-present the album on record store day as we wholeheartedly support the independent shops keeping alive the wonderful artefact that is the vinyl record, particularly in these times of COVID.”

Turn Up The Volume: A band that matters, a record
that matters, political statements that matter.

From Sweden – VON ANDERSSON NOISE SYSTEM With Electrifying ‘ECHOES’

Daily electricity to load your batteries…

28 June 2021

Artist: VON ANDERSON NOISE SYSTEM
Who: Based in Stockholm, Sweden, VANS is the brain child of
Henrik von Andersson. The band’s unique sound evolves around
Henrik’s soft singing style and the contrast it creates with the
noisy guitars and the other broken sounds.

New single: ECHOES

Turn Up The Volume says: This is what happens when a dream pop melody
is driven by glimmering guitars and striking Peter Hook (Joy Division / New Order)
bass dynamism. Meditative vocals float all over the song’s electrifying course before
a long outro with synths sounding like strings slow down the pithy pace for a chill-out finale. Top performance!

Tune in here…

guitars and brutal spit and sneer vocals energizes your heartbeat mercilessly.
