Reveries for the laziest day of the week

26 October 2025

Artists: LOST IN SEPTEMBER

Who: Musical project of Belgian singer-songwriters
Alain Quateau en Renilde Gees

Press info: Alain Quateau, once a member of The Paranoid Polaroids, decided one day to build his own studio. As a producer, he had the pleasure of working with many bands and talented artists, but one encounter left a lasting impression: the one with Renilde Gees.

Now, thirty years later, she unexpectedly contacted him again to record some tracks.
He knew immediately that he had found a kindred spirit in her. The name Lost in September refers to their shared love of melancholy and imagination.

A couple of weeks ago the duo launched their magnific debut single
Dreams. An endearing, heartrending and sepia-coloured musing.

And the follow-up just hit our headphones. WHAT IF I TOLD YOU is an equally soothing reverie, a reflective song “about slowing down. About realizing that happiness often hides in memories.

Sit down, relax, give your busy mind a day off and let your ears dream away.

SCOTT COLLINS – Nashville Singer-Songwriter Stirs With Musing ‘EXTINGUISH THE FLAME’

Reveries for the laziest day of the week

21 September 2025

Artist: SCOTT COLLINS
Who: Singer-songwriter from Nashville who played in
a couple of local bands and who’s on a journey of his
own now.

Track: EXTINGUISH THE FLAME

Collins: “This song is a nuanced recounting and reexamination, and a plea for both reckoning and reconciliation, and furthermore a realization that the twin flame myth is a limiting belief system that robs us of sole ownership of the individually unique searing soul each of us possess and are here to share. There are most definitely sacred mirror humans that reflect things back to us that help us learn, but our light activation burns from the inside out, not outside in.”

This stripped to the bone, acoustic musing is a soul-stirring introspection.
Mixed emotions are translated into music with Collins‘ impassioned voice
upfront holding your attention all the way through. Alluring. Gripping.

NELSON SOBRAL Endears With Modern Day Motown Echoes On New Single ‘BUILT TO LAST’

Musings for the laziest day of the week

7 September 2025

Artist: NELSON SOBRAL
Who: Singer-songwriter-guitarist hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, equally inspired
by the vast, wide open spaces of the country he calls home and the labyrinthine maze of the city in which he resides. Sobral’s music is as much Americana and blues as it is soul and rock’n’roll, perfectly balanced with the energy and sound of each of his respective influences

Track: BUILT TO LAST

Sobral: ““I wrote “Built To Last” thinking about the rare connections that stand
the test of time. It came together quickly, almost like it was waiting for me to catch
up. I recorded it myself, and when Mattie mixed and produced it—with Tay’s harmonies
lifting everything—it felt like the exact way it was meant to sound: warm, real, and
lived-in.

“Built To Last” is not only a statement about the strength of undying love but
also how I feel about me and my approach to playing & creating music and
presenting it to the world.”

TUTV: Dim the lights, sit down, fix yourself your fav drink, relax and listen
to this endearing reverie, beautifully orchestrated, fueled with a funky bass
riff and Sobral‘s midnight hour voice. A modern day Motown soul vibe to
cherish.

Everything that passes through them is haunted by the weary ghost of American music
