One voice, one guitar, one musing, one thrill can make you silent and stop doing
what you’re doing. Something that illustrious songsmiths such as Nick Drake and
Elliott Smith did with heart and soul throughout their (too short) careers.

Felix Hill‘s has obviously the talent to make your silent and listen up close also
what he demonstrates here with this stripped to the bone humdinger of a song
about relation breakups. Safe And Sound is a romantic lullaby accompanied by
gentle electric-guitar sparks. Absorbing and moving. Making me think of the
early intimate songs of Jake Bugg.
