KAISER CHIEFS – British Tune Machine Launched Their Easy Eighth Album

6 March 2024

The British veteran tune machine KAISER CHIEFS started their successful
career back in 1997 named as Runston Parva, from 2000 as Parva, and finally
in 2003 they decided to operate as Kaiser Chiefs.

Last Friday they supplied their 8th LP titled,
daftly, KAISER’S CHIEF EASY EIGHT ALBUM
to their diehard fans.

Mojo magazine: “ While Kaiser Chiefs aren’t starting many riots
these days, these shiny tunes will keep the body bouncing and the
spirits high.

TUTV: Over the years I lost interest in the once-upon-a-time hip Leeds rockers. But when
I come across them at a festival I’m always in for some sing-along with the crowd to their past great hits such as I Predict A Riot (more than 264 million streams on Spotify), Ruby (more than 126 million), Oh My God ( more than 26 million) and a couple more oldies.

This new LP is again stuffed with several lets-dance-sway-around-scream-and-shout tunes, but none as good as the old ones, but still worth a dance. And, yep, when I bump into the Chiefs once again on a green field, this summer, I’ll have my pipes oiled first.

Top single.

Waking Up With Return Of KAISER CHIEFS And Their New Funky Stomper ‘FEELING ALRIGHT’

Daily noise that works faster than any stimulant

2 November 2023

The British veteran indies KAISER CHIEFS started their successful career
back in 1997 named as Runston Parva, from 2000 as Parva and finally in
2003 they started to operate as Kaiser Chiefs.

They just communicated that their 8th LP titled
EASY EIGHT, will arrive on 1 March 2024.

And here comes the lead single FEELING ALRIGHT. A funky stomper, produced
by celebrated musician/producer Nile Rodgers (now 71) that bounces forth and
back, going up every time the sickly catchy chorus pops up.

Ricky Wilson (frontman): “On the first day with Nile Rogers, he said ‘what have you got?’
We searched through some jams we had and this was a song that stood out to him. The band loved playing it round and round, and it must be fun to play but we never really knew where it would find a home. Nile turned out to be the best estate agent and found it a home almost immediately. He also brought in Amir, who turned out to be our housemate for the entire record. A good place to start!”

KAISER CHIEFS Recorded And Shared A Lockdown Version Of ‘OH MY GOD’…

15 April 2020

Leeds’ rockers KAISER CHIEFS joined the many artists who broadcast music from
their homes. They recorded and shared a lockdown version of one of their greatest
hits ever ‘OH MY GOD’, which also appeared on their triumphant debut longpplayer
Employment from 2005.

With every member appearing from their houses, the popular group reworked the song
to a ‘Stay Home’ edition because “because being really far away from home is something you shouldn’t be right now” with new lyrics referring to the surreal times we live in.

“Oh my God I can’t believe it, I’ve never spent this much time at home”.

Come on, sing along …

British Rockers KAISER CHIEFS Released Debut Album EMPLOYMENT 15 Years Ago…

7 March 2020

Today 15 years ago, on 7 March 2005, British flamboyant rockers KAISER CHIEFS
released their debut album EMPLOYMENT. An instant bestseller as the record was
filled with king-sized sing along crackers, first-rate hooks and ace licks while tackling English life and its social problems. The LP reached #3 in the UK and #2 almost
12 months after its issue due to the band’s success after the Brit Awards.

AllMusic wrote: “Inspired by that moment sometime in the late ’70s when punk gave birth
to new wave (and looked back to the heyday of ’60s mod for inspiration), the Kaiser Chiefs’ debut, Employment, expands on the sharp, sussed sound of their singles in surprising ways.
A look at British life and its discontents, Employment is a remarkably ambitious debut album that aspires, right down to its cheeky liner notes and graphics, to be the ‘Parklife’ or ‘All Mod Cons’ of the 2000s.”
