Longest album ever? Today Canadian  singer-songwriter MAC DEMARCO (born Vernor Winfield MacBriare Smith IV 32 years ago) has put a collection of 199 songs, taking 9 hours and 30 minutes, online (Spotify). It’s named ONE WAYNE G after famed hockey player Wayne Gretzky.

All tracks have no title, but dates. They are sketches of songs recorded
between 2018 and January 2023. Some of these were played life before,
but most are brand-new.

Did I listen to all of them? No, absolutely not. I listened to the 20 first pieces
and about 15 ad random. Guess what? I liked it. Most of them are instrumental
with a lazy, jazzy, and ambient vibe. Perfect for (long) laid-back moments. Nice, Mac.
I promised myself to play 20 tracks per day so I will have heard the album in full
within +/- 10 days.
