Just like that, totally unexpected, we get a brand-new
Lennon/McCartney song, not a John/Paul one that is,
but a Sean/James one.
James McCartney is a son of Paul and his late mother Linda Eastman,
and Sean Lennon is the son of his late genial dad John and Yoko Ono.
Both are singer/songwriters themselves who released/release
music now and then solo, and/or with a band.
James just shared a brand-new romantic musing, titled PRIMROSE HILL
written with Sean. He introduced it on social media. “I had a vision as a child
in Scotland, on what was a lovely summers day. Letting go, I saw my true love and
saviour in my mind’s eye. ‘Primrose Hill’ is about getting the ball rolling with me
and finding this person.”
John and Paul will love the melancholic timbre.
