1984 – The year of George Orwell‘s dystopian social science fiction novel published
in 1949. A visionary book focused on the consequences of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and repressive regimentation of persons and behaviours within society.
Musically 1984 was a year of sonic eclecticism. Folk, punk, classic rock and pop, ska,
