CHIN UP, KID is a powerhouse rock band
from Indianapolis who started to make noisy
havoc in 2013.

Now 2 albums and 10 years later they’re gearing up for
a third longplayer. It’s titled ‘Blackheart Social‘ and will see
the day of light on 22 March 2024 via We Are Triumphant
Records.

Ahead of it they dropped this new projectile, named INCUBUS
featuring Danny Rose Murillo from Hollywood Undead.

Jon Benjamin (guitarist): ““Incubus is the part of our record that deals with the temptations brought on by the Hollywood life. The main character absolutely indulges in this. It was so great working with Danny on this song! He absolutely brought our vision to life with his additions!”

Incubus is a monster of a hammer blow with a titanic wall of sound. You can split
concrete with this cast-iron haymaker. Sky-scraping vocals, Herculean drumming,
burning guitars and a bombastic chorus combine for a volcanic eruption. Today Indianapolis, tomorrow Hollywood. Helmet should take Chin Up, Kid them on tour.

New single: HELL OF A DAY

TUTV: Holy fucking smoke. Another loud and clear example of why jagged rock and
roll belongs to angry young boys/girls juveniles. No arty farty tricks, no calculated take
the money and run greediness, no fake attitude. Mind you this mean punk machine have
an attitude, but one that’s spiced with brutal honesty and an appetite for maddening moshpit uproar.

The bloodcurdling shebang starts with a freaked-out bass-riff, an eye/ear blink later
the vociferous vocalist screams his way throughout like a young Jello Biafra, even when
a schizo guitar pops up he keeps on barking.

No brakes, no breaks, no mistakes. These teen motherrockers, including a savage drummer with 4 arms, are obviously at their razor blade best when they have a hell
of a day. Wowzers!

Go bonkers.

KILLING JOKE’s Co-Founder And Guitarist GEORDIE WALKER Death At 64

Last weekend KILLING JOKE‘s co-founder/guitarist GEORDIE WALKER
died following a stroke, in his home in Prague. He was 64. Founding member
and bassist of the British post-punk champs Martin ‘Youth’ Glover, paid
tribute to Walker.

RANDY NEWMAN, one of the most famous and lauded singer-songwriters ever was
born named Randall Stuart Newman on 28 November 1943 in Los Angeles. Happy 80!

He recorded/released 15 studio LPs, with Dark Matter from 2017 as the most recent
one. He also scored the soundtrack for multiple movies such as Ragtime, Awakenings (with Robert De Niro and the late Robin Williams), A Bug’s Life and all 3 Toy Stories.

He won several Awards: 3 Emmys, 6 Grammy Awards,
and was added to the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 2002.

Early this year a European tour was planned, but due
to illness, it was postponed. No further news since then.

SNÕÕPER are a 5-piece trash-and-slash pop-punk squad from Nashville, TN
who got hyped almost from the moment they started screaming, a couple of
years ago.

Last summer they unleashed their debut LP Super Sn​õ​õ​per.
A pithy blitzkrieg punk record. 14 songs in 22 minutes, like in
the good old punk days.

Today they dropped a brand new track. COMPANY CAR is an unstoppable
missile speeding like an F1 race car. Fast, furious and fun. I dare you to catch
up with this smoking bolide.
