Band: SOME REMAIN Who: Alt indie punk outfit from Sligo, Ireland formed from busking on the streets of their home city. They deliver catchy hooks and chaotic noise in their high energy live sets brought about by feeling an absence of something like that around them, and wanting to create something with some edge and fun.
Track: FEEL LOW
The lead single from the same titled EP due around mid-July, digitally and on 12″ vinyl.
TUTV: This mind-bending psychedelic jam resonates like having a nasty nightmare in the middle of the day. Slowly but surely Some Remain drag you in a spiralling roller coaster that gains fervency and tempestuousness along its knock-down-drag-out crusade. There’s no way to escape the wall-of-pulverising sound you can break concrete with. Spectacular stuff.
Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

I never thought I would feature ROBBIE WILLIAMS (51 now) here. But hey, my ears
decide what’s happening, and they tell me that his new single ROCKET is a blast.
It’s the first taster from his upcoming 13th album, his first in 6 years. It’s named BRITPOP and lands this Autumn. Williams invited Black Sabbath‘s Tony Iommi to give the track some extra punch with roasting riffs.
Williams: “I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British Music. I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it’s raw, there are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual. There’s some ‘Brit’ in there and there’s certainly some ‘pop’ too – I’m immensely proud of this as a body of work and I’m excited for fans to hear this album. ”
There’s also a whole lot of energy on “Rocket,” the lead single from Williams forthcoming
LP ‘Britpop’. It’s a charged-up pop-punk snorter with some serious Ramones/Undertones vibes, and it’s got guitar from the legendary Black Sabbath axe-wrecker Tony Iommi. We’re looking at a statement.”

The kind of heartwarming reverie you’ll cherish for a long time.
Australian psych-pop act TAME IMPALA, the sonic baby of mastermind, singer,
songwriter, musician, record producer, and DJ KEVIN PARKER released their
debut album INNERSPEAKER on 21 May 2010, this day 15 years ago.
Originally, Parker intended to make it a double album, but eventually lacked
the motivation to do so. Many of the songs demos intended for the double LP
were later leaked onto YouTube in unmixed form.
The LP’s artwork from Australian artist Leif Podhajsky features an image of
the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, actually the border between North Carolina and Tennessee, in the USA.
The album got lots of critical acclaim, with many praising Parker‘s ability to put a
modern spin on elements of 1960s psychedelic rock, creating a new and original
sound.
Pitchfork said: “These Australians have crafted an assured and accomplished album
that integrates an array of psych rock references into a powerful whole. This is very much an album’s album– it sounds best as a piece, where you can get lost in its heady expanse. When an album is able to tinker with and update familiar textures and moods without blurring the lines too much or just plain overdoing it, you can believe that psych fans will be asking for it to be thrown on regardless. If you’re smart, you’ll oblige them.” Score: 8.5/10.
French techno-pop-punk duo KAP BAMBINO – multi-instrumentalist Orion Bouvier and singer/dancer Caroline Martial – are organizing raves on record and on stage for 20-plus years now.
Last March the inflammable tandem released their 6th album,
titled NO DOMINATION, featuring cooking single Parasite.
Artists: MERCY LAND Who: Musicians Laura Jinn and Tatum Gale, starcrossed lovers chasing a crumbling dream. They make darkwave, dreampop, and alternative dance with their hearts on their sleeves and their eyes to the heavens. They tap into mall goth sarcasm and the American tradition of gambling it all away without losing sight of a cherished, ever-burning romantic optimism.
Track: KID A
Their debut single and first piece
of their upcoming Termites EP.
TUTV: Kid A is a glittery electro pop stimulant that works effectively on the spot. A titillating tune that boost your mood in an eye/ear blink. Charming duet vocals augment the easygoing sonic tone, while sparkling synths radiate brighter than Spring sun. Way to go.
“I did it all for you
I wrote this song for you
And when it all turned blue
It was really night and day
I’m chasing shadows on the wall and you’re walking
Walking away”
