THE ROLLING STONES – 50 Years Ago They Released Their 3rd LP ‘”OUT OF OUR HEADS’ With Two Different Front Covers

30 July 2025

OUT OF OUR HEADS, the 3rd LP by THE ROLLING STONES
was released in two editions with different covers and track
listings.

In the US, London Records released it on 30 July 1965, today 50 years ago,
as the band’s 4th American album, while Decca Records released its UK
edition on 24 September 1965 as the 3rd British album. Weird, but those
were the marketing ways back then.

The American version featured their first No. 1 single
over the ocean with (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.

In the UK the classic firecracker was initially played only on pirate radio stations,
because its lyrics were considered too sexually suggestive. Later, in August, it was
finally officially released as a single and became the Stones‘ 4th number one in
their home country.

SNÕÕPER – Ever-Changing Nashville Punk Line-Up Are Gearing Up For ‘WORLDWIDE’ Domination

Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

30 July 2025

Press photo by Blaire Beamer

Nashville‘s blitzkrieg pop punk colletive SNÕÕPER unleashed their whirling
and twirling debut LP Super Snõõper, 2 years ago. 14 songs in 22 minutes,
like in the good old Ramones days.

Last month they dropped a 4-track EP, titled Unknown Caller.

And they’re not done yet for this year. Their sophomore
album, named Worldwide will hit the streets and your
stereo on October 3th via Jack White’s Third Man Records.

It’s not really clear who is in and out of the line -up.
From day one, members come and go as swift as
the length of their songs, well sort of.

Only the boy and girl in the photo on
top are permanent band members.

Press info: “While their debut was a collage of random images, “Worldwide” is a more cohesive, adventurous work showcasing Snooper’s evolving style. Throbbing electronics and dance breaks expand on their guitar-driven roots, while Blaire Tramel’s ever-changing lineup of larger-than-life papier-mâché puppets keeps their live shows irresistibly captivating.”

Along with the news comes the first single, the title track. They still try
to match the speed of a Formula 1 race car, but their sound is cranked-up
and somehow nastier.

Wake up and check for yourselves, people.

Last May they played Brussels.
A thunder-and-lighting storm,
unfortunately wrecked by an
awful sound mix.

Five London disco-punk cowboys teamed up during the awful 2020 lockdown year
(many bored youngsters decided to do so, to kill time inside) and started FAT DOG.

Last year, they showed up for the first time with bombastic banger King Of The Slugs and several singles later they dropped their debut LP WOOF. One of the best debuts of 2024. And if you can catch them live (like I already did a couple of times) don’t hesitate to go out and have a ball with them.

Anyway, before embarking on their umpteenth tour, we get
a brand new frenetic flamethrower, named PRAY TO THAT.

Get on your knees, folks, and adore the dog priest.

SUEDE Drop Another Epic Tune From Their Upcoming LP – Hear/Watch ‘DANCING WITH EUROPEANS’ Here

Daily electricity to load your batteries

29 July 2025

Press photo

As announced earlier on, London‘s glam rock vets SUEDE fronted by voice/face/songwriter Brett Anderson, have bagged their 10th album. It’s baptized Antidepressants and it will land on our speakers on September 5th.

New album artwork

They just dropped the 3rd single, named DANCING WITH THE EUROPEANS.

Anderson about the song in an interview with NME: “The song was inspired by a gig we did a couple of years ago in Spain. I was going through a bad time personally, and the gig was just amazing. I just felt that amazing thing you have when you do a great gig. You feel like you’re bigger than something that’s just yourself – you’re part of a group of people.

TUTV: Just like on the two previous singles, Disintegrate and Trance State, Anderson
stars in the middle with an overwhelming vocal performance, peaking on the epic chorus, and he’s backed by full of vim and vigour drums/bass tandem and glimmering guitars.

Suede age backwards.

CASKET RATS – Boston’s Sleazy Me(n)talheads Introduce You To ‘WHISKEY QUEEN’ In Their Batcave

Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

29 July 2025

Band: CASKET RATS
Who:
Seasoned metalheads from Boston, MA who
released their self-titled 5-track debut EP in 2022.

Their motto is (rightly so): ‘No gods, no masters,
no kings – rock and roll will set us free.”

Track: WHISKEY QUEEN

Keith Bennett (bassist/vocalist): “It’s a punch in the face. It’s a greasy,
sleazy rocker from a greasy, sleazy rock and roll band. We’re letting the
world know we exist, and it’s no time for polite introductions.”

About the video: “That’s our dirty, sweaty little practice space and those
are our dirty, sweaty little carcasses playing a dirty, sweaty little banger.”

TUTV: Think Guns N’ Roses on acid, Motörhead on speed. This riff-roasting
rat race makes your head spin uncontrollably. Vicious guitars, a madman
for a drummer, a manic bassist and a demonic vocalist. Sounds mental,
right? Absolutely.

No idea who the Whiskey Queen is, but I’m pretty sure she lives in
paradise city where the girls are pretty and ace of spades rules.

For those about to rock, Casket Rats salute you from their batcave.

Wake up, people, and rawk your ass off.
