Who: 4 indies out of Hull, UK. They want to embrace musical communities,
feeling strongly that music should never be a privilege, qnd believe in giving
back to grassroots venues, pedalling the importance of grassroots music and
its often-fragile infrastructure.

Track: DO YOU WANNA? (YEAH I WANNA)
Their debut single.

A song about feelings of self-doubt, gut instinct and
observations, all personified in a ‘relationship’ context.

“With Hull’s rich history of music culture, we feel this song of ours captures
an essence of that ‘Hull sound’; something that’s been paved by the likes of
The Beautiful South, The Paddingtons and The Housemartins.”

TUTV: And a one, and a one-two-three-four, here we go. From the kick-off
jangly guitars hijack this full of vim and vigour stroke, juiced with a bass and
guitar solo, a resolute drummer and itching vocals.

Pure indie electricity, inspired by 60s punk-beat bands.
Do you wanna The Sovereigns? I’m sure you wanna.

FIRE BLANKET – Attention For Fresh Manchester Noise Outfit And Their Hellraising Debut ‘DOCUMENT’

Who: Noise rock/post-hardcore outfit from Manchester, UK.
FFO: Jon Spencer, The Jesus Lizard and Tropical Fuck Storm.

TUTV: Picture this. Aggressive guitars rage like chainsaws around a nasty mid-tempo groove, juiced-up by sinewy drum hits and when the clamorous chorus kicks in the
vocalist bellows as if he can’t get out of his straitjacket. Oh yeah, you’ll love this horrific slice of hellraising post-punk mayhem.

They look and they operate like your new favorite Halloween band. Amps up, decibels
up, heat up. I wonder if this track isn’t a hidden one on one of Fugazi‘s detonating exploits.
An in-your-face debut. Blimey.

GASMM – High-Powered Belgian Indie Team Score With Their Debut Single ‘BLACK HOLES IN THE SKY’

Who: Fresh Belgian
indie outfit.

Gasmm delivers a sound that recalls the ’90s while feeling completely
of the moment. The production is deliberately raw, giving every element
its space, from the floating vocals to the explosive guitars.

Debut single: BLACK HOLES IN THE SKY

“During a spontaneous late-night jam between frontman Siemen and lead guitarist Michiel, the idea for a track that would capture the band’s DNA was born: raw yet dreamy, chaotic yet irresistible. When the melody of black holes in the sky finally came together, there was no question—it had to be their musical calling card.”

TUTV: Gasmm hit the bullseye right away with their high-powered, rollercoaster debut. From the get-go hungry guitars, set the blazing tone. Decibels fly around the room while the singer fills the black holes in the sky with his hell-bent vocality, including a couple of creepy growls and the towering chorus puts a big cherry on their first cake. Electronica which aims to unnerve, to disturb and to question.”

TUTV: Ominous tension hangs all over this feverish and foreboding psych jam incited
by angstful guitars. A sign of the times. Welcome To The Sharktank isn’t a song about the birds and the bees, it’s about today, about 2025 and the uncertain future. Anxious vocals amplify the inauspiciousness in the air and get out of control in the end. Scary reality as
we know it.

Who: Fresh Brit-rock trio led
by Liam Gallagher‘s son Gene.

Track: HINGE
Their debut single.

NME says: “It’s a blast of late Nirvana grunge
where lo-fi grit meets arena-destroying swagger.

They also had an interview with the band. Read it here

Gallagher: “It’s just all heavy guitars. That’s my favourite tone of any song: just really chuggy chords and really fucking distorted. All my favourite songs are like that – very punk rock. It’s just an aggressive song. I want it to sound like having a freakout. The lyrics are anxious as fuck.”

TUTV: I don’t know if Gene‘s dad is a grunge fan (as if Gene would care, he’s a damn Gallagher). Hinge echoes early Nirvana (debut album ‘Bleach‘). It has a raw and rough
indie edge. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s cool that Gene doesn’t copy/paste Oasis.
We’ll see/hear what their future will sound like.

TUTV: Wicked bass, riot-gun drums and galvanic, shoegazy guitars combine for
a mind-bending intro, and introduce their instantly bone-chilling vocalist. Blimey,
way to start this fully-charged journey.

Or Anything gets under your skin without asking. Its gloomy mid-tempo
progression draws you into a nerve-racking and stratospheric wall-of-sound
vortex.
