JUKEBOX 2026 – WEEK 5 – Five New Rad Tracks Added Twice A Week

Probably the only playlist that matters

Another year, another Jukebox to fill with new
tracks, 5 twice a week, for your aural pleasure.

This is the 7th batch of 5 new rad ones of 2026.

ALL TOGETHER

TRACK BY TRACK

Band: DEAD DADS CLUB
Who: New project of Chilli Jesson who was the frontman of
former British guitar pop group Palma Violets (2011-2016).

Track: THAT’S LIFE
Piece from their most gripping,
brand new self-titled debut LP.

TUTV: This mid-tempo, guitar power pop anthem’s intensity is astonishing.
Inflamed emotions, galvanic outpouring, deep-felt vocals. Formidable performance.
This is what’s sonic life is about.

Goosebumps.

📸 Ville Nieminen

Band: THE FAIR ATTEMPTS
Who: A dystopian force – Timo Haakana and his wife Starwing – from Finland who merge raw, driving rhythms with haunting melodies, exploring the human condition in a future where technology, control, and alienation intertwine.

Track: GHOST WITHIN

“Ghost Within” examines the internal monsters: negative self-talk, doubts, pride before collapse, and the subtle ways the human mind feeds on its own fear. The song portrays self-awareness as a mirror maze, where reflection offers no clear exit.

TUTV: This pumping, new-wavish synth stomper causes head spins from the kick-off.
Ghost Within sticks immediately with its orchestral melodrama, darksome goth echoes, stirring vocals and high-octane chorus.

Slam-bang.

Linktree
——————————————————————————————————————————-

Artists: SKYRACER
Who: British synth-wave
rock duo from Sheffield.

Track: LAST TOKEN
Their 8th single.

TUTV: Synth-rock pandemonium with industrial NIN droning. Heavy-duty electropunk to sway yourself dizzy to. Last Token never loses its persistent grip. Booming beats crush your stereo. Trust me, it’s worth the damage.

Bang-on tune.

Band: VIRGINS
Who: Belfast-based
shoegaze indies.

Track: CRUCIBLE
From their upcoming, final release.
A 4-track EP, named Light The Space Left Behind.
Out on February 19th. More info here.

TUTV: Sad news. This compelling indie shoezegaze collective call it a day after 5 years.
Their debut album nothing hurt and everything was beautiful made Turn Up The Volume a fan. This both manic-guitar-propelled and melodic jam, spiced with crystalline vocals, is an arresting harbinger for the band’s goodbye.

Virgins didn’t hurt, everything they did was beautiful.

Artists: WAYWARD VINE
Who: Acoustic collective – Valerie Rachel and Greg Lawrence – exploring the human condition and the world around us. Our music probes themes of love, heartbreak, obsession, and social justice.

Track: THE FALL
The title track of their notable debut
album. You can stream it here.

TUTV: This enchanting reverie is so welcome in these messed-up times. Back to nature, where you can enjoy tranquility and reload your mind with basic normality. Touching piano play, some harmonica warmth, some violin nostalgia, acoustic guitar melancholy, bass and drum smoothness and hearty vocals paint a bittersweet symphony visualized now in a new, sepia-colored video.

Enrapturous.

JUKEBOX 2026 – WEEK 4 – Five New Rad Tracks Added Twice A Week

Probably the only playlist that matters

Another year, another Jukebox to fill with new
tracks, 5 twice a week, for your aural pleasure.

This is the 6th batch of 5 new rad ones of 2026.

ALL TOGETHER

TRACK BY TRACK

Band: MAVERIX
Who: Three noiseninks from Milan, Italy. They
released their debut album Cowpunk! in 2023.

Track: MAVERIX RADIO

Press info: With the track, MaveriX tune into a world of fake smiles, static scenes, and plastic poses—and answer with a raw, high‑voltage anthem built for sweat‑drenched nights and unfiltered rebellion.

TUTV: Sounds like if psychobilly Dick Dale is on guitar, like if this striking stroke
gets electrocuted when the sing-along chorus kicks in. Add a fiery finale and we
know we have a riff-roasting winner.

Blazing hot.

Instagram – Spotify

Band: DOLL SPIRIT VESSEL
Who: Guitar-motorized indies
from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Track: KISSING MY CUP New piece from their upcoming,
2nd full-length, titled Bow, and out on March 3rd.

TUTV: Psychotic guitars intertwin with singer Kati Malison‘s
pyretic vocals, balancing between guitar pop and unfiltered
post-punk.

Turbulent tune.

.
Instagram – Spotify

Artist: MARC VALENTINE
Who: Seasoned rocker from New York
with 2 albums on his résumé.

Track: NY UAP
New single taken from the forthcoming
album Uncommon Side Effects.

Valentine: “‘NY UAP’ is basically an allegory for life on the road. The inspiration for the song came while touring the US east coast, which happened to coincide with the infamous New Jersey UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) sightings. I was wondering if they had an equivalent to rock’n’roll in their existence… and maybe they were on the ultimate inter-dimensional tour.”

TUTV: Don’t hesitate a second to jump on Valentine‘s new buzzy speed-train,
motorized by about 100 guitars generating about 100 riffs, or you’ll miss the
ride. Rawk ‘n’ roll in manic motion.

Good gracious.

Band: DEREK SMITH & THE COSMIC VULTURES
Who: Captivating pop/rock outfit from Boston with
5 LPs under their belt. Check them out on Spotify
right here

Track: HOLLOW CHOIR
This is Smith‘s 80th song
release over the past eight years.

Smith: “This song sums up the feelings I have had towards my music career for the last few years. I am always being told what I should do or what I should write. The voices have turned into an empty choir for me, or a ‘Hollow Choir’, if you will. The most important thing I have discovered is that I have to be me.”

TUTV: Smith drags you into his delirious universe. Hollow Chair has
a 60s psychedelic vibe, and Mark Knopfler’s guitar echoes add some
sparkling scintillation.

Feverish.

ARCTIC MONKEYS
Track: OPENING NIGHT

Their first new music since 2022 album The Car. Written and recorded for the upcoming Warchild benefit album ‘Help (2)’, featuring several other artists. It comes out on March 6th.

TUTV: Another smooth musing that easily could have been on that Car LP, with its tranquil groove and Turner‘s crooner vocals. Looks, again, as if the Monkeys are tired of rockin’ out.

JUKEBOX 2026 – WEEK 4 – Five New Rad Tracks Added Twice A Week

tracks, 5 twice a week, for your aural pleasure.

This is the 5th batch of 5 new rad ones of 2026.

ALL TOGETHER

TRACK BY TRACK

Artists: DEAD ANYWAY
Who: British duo that sets the dark lyricism of Kate Arnold
against the music and soundscapes of Marc Symonds. A mix
of poetry, electronica, and guitars.

Track: A SHIFT OF PERSPECTIVE
Lead single from their new, forthcoming, 7th longplayer, named
Squeak Piggy Squeak, and out on February 6th. More info here.

TUTV: What the hell is this? Must be the most dancey, vibey, and trippy track
of their sonic canon. A Shift Of Perspective has an irresistible pelvis-energizing
swing spiced with sparkly guitar play and, of course, Kate Arnold‘s spoken-word
panache. Let the siren howl.

Fantabulous!

Band: DOWN THE LEES
Who: The post-rock noise project of seasoned Canadian
singer/songwriter/guitarist Laura Lee Schultz. DTL released
3 notable albums, so far.

Track: DEAD AND OVER
2nd shared piece from the band’s concert
movie, titled This Is How It Feels.

TUTV: Another torch burning jam enflamed with feverish, ominous
and sinewy guitar dynamism, a high-strung rhythm section, and
Schultz‘s delirious vocals.

Top-drawer effort.

Band: SPECIAL FRIEND
Who: French-American indie
guitar pop, based in Paris.

Track: BREAKFAST
New preview from their upcoming 3rd album, named
Clipping. It’ll arrive on March 20th. More info here.

TUTV: Breakfast immediately made me think of Canadian girl power pop band
The Beaches and New Zealand‘s peppy outfit,
The Beths. This is the kind of blithe
ditties that kick-start your mood after your first coffee in the morning. Trip and
hop along the speedy flow and the frolicsome duet vocals.

Boosting injection.

Instagram – Bandcamp
——————————————————————————————————————————-

Band: THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS
Who: Alt rock duo – John Flansburgh and John Linnell – started their
journey way back in 1982 and have since released 23 albums.

Track: EYEBALL
The title song of their
brand new 4-track EP.

TUTV: These two giants are musical addicts. If you have released 23 albums, you
deserve some blue ribbons. And they’re not done yet. They’re still full of energy.

.

Artist: GOTH FIGHT CAGE
Who: The moniker of DIY singer-songwriter Mark Holloway
of Belfast’s heavy weight fuzz champions, Fagash McCann.

Track: I’M NOT IN LOVE WITH YOU

‘The sound itself comes from the nature of the home recordings, I’m limited
in what I can do in certain places so I’ll tend to lean more into more scrappy
lo-fi/garage sounds. The gear I like to use is simple and mostly broken.’

TUTV: Full electrifying speed from the get-go. This swirling guitar-riffing
missile has an adrenalizing gusto that makes your head spin 360°, while
Holloway lets his sentiments roll out, loud and clear.

All members also have their own projects. They formed in 2004.

Track: EVIE
First single from their forthcoming 6th longplayer,

all day long. Sway your pelvis. Hip and hop to the insane groove.

Dope tune!

Band: NAMELESS FRIENDS
Who: Eclectic post-punk mavericks from London, Ontario, CA.
They released their debut album, Blasphemy, in 2023

Track: I’M AFRAID OF FAILURE.
Piece from their 2nd album, baptized
The Quiet Part, Loudly. Out April 15th.

Number One (lead vocalist/producer) explains: “This song is about trying. It’s about that feeling when you give enough of a shit that it actually hurts, but you do it anyway. We wanted to capture the raucous, bloody energy of the crowds we’ve played for in Prince Edward Island and Scotland—places where people know how to celebrate and mourn in the same breath.”

TUTV: You can expect anything from these mental friends. This one resonates loudly
as if The Pogues team up with The Dropkick Murphys for a zippy punk chant before heading to the pub. I dare you to keep up with the pogo pace without tripping over your own feet and going down, head first. Sounds like big fun, right? You betcha?

Yeah!

TRACK-BY-TRACK

Band: HIQPY
Who: Ebullient indies from
Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

“What if Kurt Cobain and Ariana Grande (frontwoman) had a Pokémon together?

headstrong. Superpower: Spews flames of echoing ad-libs and fuzzy guitars, hailing
from Amsterdam.”

Track: YOUMAN.
Their newest single.

TUTV: A brisk, sprightly, and tremendously catchy guitar pop gem
peaking on its splendiferous chorus. An irresistible piece of music.

Band: PRESSGANG MUTINY
Who: Canadian Celtic folk combo reviving the raw spirit of sea shanties and
working-class maritime traditions. This Toronto-based vocal quartet is more
than a band. They are keepers of a centuries-old storytelling tradition, brought
roaring into the 21st century.

Across their twelve years together, PM have moved from Toronto pub sessions to
major maritime and folk festivals across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom,
The Caribbean, France, Germany,
and Poland.

Track: OLD MICK
New cut from their forthcoming 3rd LP, titled
Departure. It’ll land on March 13th.

TUTV: Think Dropkick Murphys stripped to the bone. Celtic folk spirit
in mellifluous motion. Glorious harmoniousness. Old Mick sticks all
the way. Oil your pipes.

Let’s all chant.

Artists: KONRADSEN
Who: Folk pop duo from Norway.

Track: EFFICIENCY
It features fellow Oslo artist Beharie.

“‘Efficiency’ portrays a kind of love that isn’t always immediate or all-consuming, but one that endures nonetheless — a relationship where time, patience, and a willingness to see the beauty in each other’s imperfections are essential. It touches on a phase many people recognize: when the distance between two people can feel greater than before, yet the bond remains strong.”

TUTV: Jenny Marie Sabel‘s voice is warm-hearted, sensual and
magically attractive. Efficiency is a gentle lullaby that triggers
daydreaming.

Entrancing.

Band: PONY
Who: Guitar pop indies
from Toronto, CA.

Track: SWALLOWING STARS
Title track of their brand new EP.

“Swallowing Stars” is about being caught in the crosshairs of a relentless people pleaser. Drinking in every beautiful word they say, as if it wasn’t just a reflection of your own thoughts and ideas, and the ultimate letdown when you finally see behind the curtain. It’s like the scene in The Wizard Of Oz when the giant animatronic wizard’s head stops working and a little insecure man walks out from behind it.

Lively, fuzzy, and catchy.

Instagram – New EP
——————————————————————————————————————————-

Artist: FATHER JOHN MISTY
Who: American songsmith Joshua Michael Tillman, who played
with dream pop ensemble Fleet Foxes as their drummer from
2008 to 2012.

So far, he has released 8 LPs under his real name,
and 6 under his John Father Misty moniker.

Track: THE OLD LAW
New single.

FJM goes for a mid-tempo jam,
and he’s almost, I repeat almost
rockin’.

Instagram – Facebook – Spotify
——————————————————————————————————————————-

Artist: CATE LE BON
Who: The reputable Welsh songstress. She released
her 7th full-length Michelangelo Dying last September.

Track: ALWAYS THE SAME
New song from those album
sessions, featuring St. Vincent.

Le Bon: “Always The Same” needed a little more elbow room than the album would allow
but it is cousin to the song cycle of Michelangelo Dying, coming into formation in the same breath. Special to me because it features dear friend and mighty artist St. Vincent who occupies the space around me with composure and gravitas whilst I kick around in the dirty waters of love.”

When two vocal stars meet.

Artist: KATIE ALICE GREER
Who: Former frontwoman of Washington DC
punk rockers Priests. She has released two
albums so far.

Track: EXPO’ 70

Teach me what I don’t know, don’t know
Should I be living with my eyed closed?”

Band: PITFALL
Who: Young and hungry Irish
grunge wolves from Belfast.

Track: OBLITERATE
Only their 2nd single, following their
debut one Satan’s In My Glovebox.

TUTV: These juvenile indies produce a bunch of revved-up guitar racket that resonates as being recorded live in a garage that smells like teen spirit. Raw vocals and rough swagger. Back to the basics of rock ‘n’ roll. Hell yeah!

.
Instagram

Artist: PETER GABRIEL

Track: BEEN DONE
First shared piece from his forthcoming LP
named o\i , the follow-up to 2023’s album i/o.

We are sliding into a period of transition like no other, most likely triggered in three
waves; AI, quantum computing and the brain computer interface. Artists have a role
to look into the mists and, when they catch sight of something, to hold up a mirror.”

TUTV: Ambient and groovy, moony and moody, as we know Gabriel of late.
