Boston‘s celtic punks DROPKICK MURPHYS cause
sonic havoc and massive sing-alongs since 1996.

They released 13LPs, thus far, over the years and
their gigs are known for being wild fiestas.

On November 13th, a tribute album to the late, incomparable Pogues‘ songsmith
legend and notorious frontman, titled 20th Century Paddy – The Songs Of Shane MacGowan will be released.

It’ll feature a extensive cast of big names such as U2, Primal Scream, Tom Waits,
The Libertines, Steve Earle, Kingfishr, Bob Geldof, Kate Moss, Johnny Depp, Bruce
Springsteen, The Jesus and Mary Chain and a ton more. Full tracklist here.

The album will be available in three physical formats, headlined by
a Limited Edition Deluxe Bookpack. This set includes 3LP, 2CD, and a
60-page book featuring rare memorabilia and liner notes.

Band: MAQUINA.
Who: Portuguese psych trio. They’re messy, intense, sweaty and a lot of fun.
They get punks to dance and club kids to pogo – “making the bubbles connect
a little bit” – with such fervour they routinely pack out venues.

A track pumped and primed to turn heads and get the blood flowing,
featuring bratty punk vocals from Silvia Konstance and synths from
Viktor L. Crux of Barcelona-based duo Dame Erea.

“‘dança’ explores a moment of introspection: the importance of being with oneself, of making space for an intimate moment, even if through dance. When words fail, the body speaks. “I just want to dance” becomes a statement suspended between inward reflection and the need for release.”

Who: An emotionally immersive, captivating, dark electronic duo from South London.
They take listeners on a shimmering and cathartic sonic journey with dreamy Industrial Synthpop, infused with pounding rhythms, haunting, evocative vocals and esoteric ambiance.

Formed in 2020 by Jamie and Karen, emerged during lockdown. Songwriting was
their way to stay connected whilst living on opposite sides of London. Their name, Palindrones, speaks to the duality at the heart of their artistry—where symmetry, reflection, and contradiction fuel both their music and their creative process.

TUTV: The Blood Moon is a dark-EBM-wave whirlwind that creeps under your skin,
into your veins, after a forbidding intro. It’s a sickly sticking tune that spirals and adrenalizes with pithy pzazz.

Macabre alternating/duet vocals emphasize the ill-boding pressure and awaken
bats all around. Palindrones draw you into their sinister and hypnotizing world without asking permission, but they leave the door ajar for a possible rebirth. Trust me, you’ll surrender after one spin.

A week ago, the news came in that Manchester‘s notorious post-punk dropouts
THE FALL, the brainchild of the late, controversial singer-songwriter MARK E. SMITH (1957-2018) will have a new album out sometime soon, named POST SCRIPT. It was
recorded not long before Smith‘s death.

WHOLES – Belgian Psych Noiz 4-Piece Still Operate In A Dark Place With Their New Nightmare ‘EAZY FOR YOU’

Who: Belgian raucous noise outfit led by musical chameleon Wolf Vanwymeersch,
who played with several bands (pop, rock, sludge metal) and released a pure singer-songwriter pearl with solo debut album The Early Years back in 2022.

Wholes are “what remains after a soul has been detonated, what
struck those around it, what could no longer be contained”.

Last year, the band scored big time with their heart-wrenching debut album, named
A Mass In The Water. One of the best 10 LPs of 2025 according to TUTV‘s ears: “It’s a
both scary and flabbergasting opus about Wolf’s father’s suicide. It takes a lot of courage to make and share this soul-crushing experience with the world.”

Newest single. A song about
frustration and liberation.

TUTV: Wholes still operate in a dark place where their demons feel at home.
Main man Wolf Vanwymeersch still wallows in self-torchering nightmares.

At times it feels as if somebody tries to rip his heart out with chainsaw riffs. Quite scary.
As Johnny Forgotten Rotten once sung, ‘this is not a love song‘, rather a gruesome dilemma meditation of choice, staying in the by now familiar darkness or fighting its way to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Another wholes-ly goosebumps juggernaut.

Renowed blues addict SEASICK STEVE (born Steven Gene Leach 75 years ago in Oakland, California) will release his 14th LP, baptized The Last Season Of America on September 18.

Press info: “In 2024, Steve and his wife Elisabeth took a road trip across America where
he witnessed the poverty and divisiveness in the context of the upcoming election.

They were in a New Orleans club where a house band leader welcomed two
Belgian musicians on stage by saying “welcome to the last season of America”.

It led to a deeply personal, heartfelt reflection on the state of
his home nation with a new protest record in the truest sense.”

So far, the man shared 3 tasters, with BAD THINGS
as the one I can’t stop listening and cheering to.

“We started out with Kids With Buns at age 18 and 20 respectively, and we were not trained musicians by any means. To be able to put that complete puzzle together; the arrangement, the songs, the production everything contributes to the whole of a song. We have had the privilege of learning it by doing it, from the bedroom to the stage. And we see the potential in each other’s ideas where no one else would.”

TUTV: The two DIY kids are now full-grown and are getting better with each release.
Car Crash, like the two previous singles, is dream pop romanticism at its starry-eyed best. Marvelous melodiousness, frisky guitar sparks, and the always slightly hoarse, tantalising vocals.
