Yesterday, French chansonnier FRANCOISE HARDY
at the age of 80, following a battle with cancer.
In the 60s/70s she had lots of success with her melancholic, sensitive
love songs in her homeland as well as in other European countries (she
also sang in English, Italian and German). She had a gorgeous, sensual
voice and looked like a gorgeous movie star (which she was).
She met her equally French famous pop/rock partner Jacques Dutronc
in 1967, had a son in 1973, married in 1981, split up in 1998, but never
divorced officially.
Thanks to my parents (God bless them) I got to know/hear
several French stars, including Hardy, as a little boy.
My absolute fav song of hers isTous Les Garçons Et Les Filles
(All Boys And Girls – more than 50 million streams on Spotify).

Two timeless and imperishable classics to remember a musical genius.
