Recently she did an acoustic radio session in Copenhagen, Denmark playing 4 songs. Big Thief’s Vampire Empireand 3 from that solo LP, Sadness As A Gift, Donut Seam and No Machine.
Jim James (vocalist/guitarist): “Music is the invisible architecture holding up the entire universe. Music is the great reminder that life, despite its challenges, still brims with so much beauty. Music connects us back to the source — the heartbeat of existence, the force of love that binds us all, that boundless ocean of cosmic energy.
In these times of great confusion and shifting energies, let us remember love, equality, and unity. Let us move past the divide-and-conquer mentality holding us back and come together to uplift one another and heal our planet. A rainbow is the greatest example we have of this in life, where all of the diverse colors come together to form something much greater than they ever could have done on their own. No matter what walk of life one may stroll — who doesn’t enjoy the majesty of a rainbow out in nature?! We are all part of that great ever-changing living rainbow called life.
Let us act with compassion and listen to the heartbeat of the universe, the voice of conscience within our souls, guiding us towards peace, reminding us that we are all one… all part of the same love.

Former Pink Floyd guitar hero DAVID GILMOUR (aged 78 now) has released his 5th solo LP, titledLUCKY AND STRANGE. He can’t or doesn’t want to hide that he was a key Pink Floyd member, musically and vocally. If ever (read: never) PF would reunite, Gilmour can offer a lot of his solo material as (new) Pink Floyd songs.
MOJO: “It’s brilliant, moving stuff, and if this were to be David Gilmour’s final record, it’s certainly the best of his solo career. Nonetheless, he has said he’s keen to get on with another album with the same team as soon as humanly possible. His ultimate realisation appears to be, as Dylan put it on Time Out Of Mind at the relatively sprightly age of 56, that it’s not dark yet, but it’s getting there.” Score: 4/5.
At the age of 91 Texas-born country star WILLIE NELSON is still doing
what he did since he was 23, releasing records and playing live.
His 76th (!!!) solo album (his 153rd overall, including collaborations,
soundtracks, and compilations), titled Last Leaf On The Tree comes
out on November 1st.
Here’s first new piece LAST LEAF. A melancholic country ballad.
Led Zep hero ROBERT PLANT and American bluegrass-country and fiddler artist ALISON KRAUSS worked together for the first time on their collaborative album Raisng Sand from 2007. Three years ago they released a 2nd one, titled Raise The Roof.
They toured in between and are right now playing shows again in Northern America.
For the occasion, they recorded a live version of WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS, which
is part of their live set from 2007 on.
It was covered multiple times afterward, and it was actually Led Zeppelin who
made the song famous with their 1971 cover that was part of Led Zeppelin IV.
Famous Denver songsmith NATHANIEL RATELIFF and his band are gearing up for
a new album, their 4th, named South Of Here. It’ll see the light of day on 28 June.

Here’s the first single HEARTLESS with Rateliff‘s
grand vox as the hero, as always, in the middle.
