Unfortunately, some very bad news reached us a couple of days ago regarding
centipede musician Mauro Pawlowski, who was dEUS‘ guitarist for 15 years.
He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer‘s disease. He’s only 54. I know Mauro pretty well and wish him and his family all the best, hoping he can still enjoy life as well as possible under the circumstances.

Notorious British post-punk dropouts FAT WHITE FAMILY with one permanent
member throughout their journey, the high-octane frontman and lyricist Lias Saoudi
who becomes an obsessed man on a mission when he sets foot on a stage, and who’s
also involved in other projects (The Moonlandingz / Decius) run amok, forth and back, for
15 years now.
In their drugs-infused, turbulent existence they have, so far, released 5 LPs,
the newest a jawdropping live one, called Konk If You’re Lonely.
But here we go back to a moment in 2015, playing their 2014 haymaker
I AM MARK E. SMITH, which shows why the Family is one of the best live
bands of this Century. Fact!

British seasoned rockers KASABIAN – one of the best bands of the past 25 years in my book – have 9 albums on their résumé, with 2024’s LP Happenings as the newest one.
It was also the 2nd one without Tom Meighan, the original, charismatic frontman who
got fired in 2020 following personal problems.
But for this adrelanine shot we go back to 2012 with

Even though Brighton‘s psychedelic pop collective TOY (2012-2021)
were once on the brink of hitting the indie top; unfortunately, it did
happen. Maybe because it was a pretty dark act, maybe too dark for
many.
They released 5 LPs and were overwhelming on stage,
which I experienced 3 times, taking my breath away.
I frequently go back to their masterpiece track/single
DEATH & GONE from their 2012 debut longplayer. It’s
a jaw-dropping psych stunner. Really mindblowing.
