London‘s hip-punk-pop duo BOB VYLAN released their praised 3rd LP
Humble As The Sun last April. One of its singles Dream Big now returns
re-named DREAM BIGGER.
It features vivacious vocals from Australian punk
daredevil Amyl Taylor from Amyl And The Sniffers.
BV: “‘Dream Bigger’ is an even bolder version of the original and it’s made so by having the incredible Amy Taylor from Amyl and The Sniffers join us. Amy has become an incredible friend over the last couple of years and along with the rest of the band, has been a true champion of Bob Vylan and what we’re doing. Seeing what Amy and the gang have been able to achieve has been inspiring and so it only makes sense to have Amy on the alternate version of ‘Dream Big’.”

Since Australian punk tornado AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS released their second
album Comfort To Me back in 2021 they’re on an endless tour around the globe.
Yet, in-between all gig mayhem they found some time to write/record/release two
new searing uppercuts. A-side U SHOULD NOT BE DOING THIS and B-side FACTS
Amyl: “U Should Not Be Doing That” makes me laugh, but it’s also in a way poking fun at
the shock that people still feel at a little bit of skimpy clothing, and the bitchy high school way that the music community still is (yes I’m talking to you random 40-year-old metalheads sitting around a table doing lines and bitching about a 28-year-old chick in a band for wearing shorts and ‘selling out’) but it mainly makes me laugh.
It’s unconscious and meant nothing at the time of writing it but now I think it’s a comedic way

One live track a day keeps the doctor away
Last November razor-sharp-rapping poets SLEAFORD MODS made
some havoc in their hometown, Nottingham. Six of the performed tracks
(2 of the latest album ‘Spare Ribs’, a cover of Yazoo’s ‘Don’t Go and 2 oldies)
were released this year, in April, on a live EP called Live At Nottz Arena.
It includes the track Nudge It that features the awesome Amyl Taylor,
from Aussie punk rockers Amyl And The Sniffers.
She joined the two mods at the said show to perform that firecracker.
