London‘s glamorous pop/rock prodigies SUEDE, supervised by their never-aging frontman Brett Anderson, released their 10th LP, named Antidepressants, last year, in September.

The LP’s deluxed edition is out now and have 5 bonus tracks.

London’s glam rock/pop celebs SUEDE orchestrated by their never aging
frontman Brett Anderson, have their 10th LP, baptized ANTIDEPRESSANTS
out today.

Press info: “The album is a milestone achievement that sees the band at the top of their game. It follows the success of their critically acclaimed ninth UK Top 10 album Autofiction, released in September 2022, which charted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was their highest-charting release in over 20 years.”

intoxicating Suede album since Coming Up, and boasts the best first side of a goth
album since the Banshees’ Juju.”

TUTV: On their last albums, guitars dominate way more than on their first 3/4 ones, creating a wall of elevating electricity with an epic sonority. It results in more rock swagger than pop sensibility, even when they slow down (Somewhere Between An Atom And A Star and June Rain) guitars have an overpowering impact. Only Brett Anderson melodramatic
can compete with them. His hypersensitive vocality is always present upfront and an instrumental factor for Suede‘s glamorous aura.

And the songs themselves? The singles (Dancing With Europeans / Trance State and Disintegrate) and the title track stand out. Their anthemic puissance hits your ears with huge fervidness. The other 7 songs try to have the very same impact but try too hard
to do so.

Mind you, most of them have an adrenalizing quality, but not enough to make the whole album a 5-star one. Yet, many other bands would sell their soul to have the necessary craftsmanship to write tunes like Anderson & Co still do today.

As announced earlier on, London‘s glam rock vets SUEDE fronted by voice/face/songwriter Brett Anderson, have bagged their 10th album. It’s baptized Antidepressants and it will land on our speakers on September 5th.

They just dropped the 3rd single, named DANCING WITH THE EUROPEANS.

Anderson about the song in an interview with NME: “The song was inspired by a gig we did a couple of years ago in Spain. I was going through a bad time personally, and the gig was just amazing. I just felt that amazing thing you have when you do a great gig. You feel like you’re bigger than something that’s just yourself – you’re part of a group of people.”

TUTV: Just like on the two previous singles, Disintegrate and Trance State, Anderson
stars in the middle with an overwhelming vocal performance, peaking on the epic chorus, and he’s backed by full of vim and vigour drums/bass tandem and glimmering guitars.

9th, quite remarkable album Autofication.

And now the news just came in that they have bagged album #10.
It’s titled Antidepressants and will land on September 5th.

Anderson: “If Autofiction was our punk record, Antidepressants is our post-punk record. It’s about the tensions of modern life, the paranoia, the anxiety, the neurosis. First single DISINTEGRATE is a badass barnstormer revved up by radioactive guitar riffs,
a colossal drum beat, and, of course, Anderson‘s feverish vocals. Suede sound like young dogmanstars once again. Take notes, all you ambitious rock snotnoses out there.
