THE SMASHING PUMPKINS completed their
three-part rock opera ATUM with Act III today.
Billy Corgan (songwriter/mastermind): “Because there’s a lot of people
who believe less is more these days. I’m on the opposite side, I actually think
more is more! With 36 songs, I was sort of Switzerland on the whole thing.”
TUTV: You’re wrong Billy. More is not necessarily better, which you prove (once again) here. The problem is that your ego is too big and you just can’t stop glorifying yourself. Moreover, you think that we can’t have enough smashing pumpkins. Wrong again. How on earth could you think that, that 60s arty farty thing called rock opera could be a triumph with your narcistic mindset.
