PETER DOHERTY Returns With BABYSHAMBLES – Enjoy Their Reggae Vibed Tune ‘DANDY HOOLIGAN’
New striking strokes
6 November 2025
Since, the now 45-year-old British singer-songwriter, PETER DOHERTY ended his
devastating drugs habits a few years ago and moved to France with his family, he
never has been so productive.
Last year he reunited with The Libertines for their triumphant
4th LP All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, followed by a tour.
Early this year he released his 5th solo one, called Feel Better Alive.
It’s on TUTV’s best-albums-of-the-year list. Again Doherty went on the
road.
Now he’s back with his other band BABYSHAMBLES.
They had a first successful run between 2003 and 2014.
They came up with 3 fine albums.
Here comes their brand-new track titled DANDY HOOLIGAN.
No additional news of a new full-length, so far.
It’s loosely based on the escapades of the band’s associate Bob Morris, who
has served his time in the anti-nazi ranks for many years. Morris stars in the
official music video, filmed by Roger Sargent in Soho.
Doherty: “It’s a well-turned-out, elegantly crafted; reggae-ska-pop
song with a sweet melody to bowl along to with your sharpened
walking cane.”
Immerse yourself in the reggae vibes, folks.
And touring again.
