Foo Fighter Dave Grohl, and Antrax’s guitarist/lyricist Scott Ian
and drummer Charlie Benante got together and recorded/released
a cover of Bad Brains‘ 1982 cannonball The Regulator .
Scott:“We ripped Regulator live in 2 takes, the way it should be!”
It came out last weekend on a 7″ for Record Store Day
under the moniker of G.B.I. (for Grohl, Benante, and Ian).
The proceeds from the 7-inch go to healthcare for H.R.,
the Bad Brains conductor who suffers from a rare headache
disorder called SUNCT.
G.B.I. will wake you up with lots
of noooiiiiizzzz (of course).
