At the end of next week Toronto‘s art punks DELILUH will launch their new album titled ‘BENEATH THE FLOORS‘ via Tin Angel Records. So far the band shared mind-cracking lead single Lickspitte (A Nut In The Paste) and puzzling groove, titled ‘Hymn and now here’s the title track.

Frontman Kyle Knapp revealed the story behind the song: “It’s about a haunting. The song catches up with the storyline of the protagonist from the album’s opener, far away from the home and life he earlier opted to abandon. I wrote the story on the GO Train, on my way to
visit family in the countryside outside of Toronto.”

Beneath The Floors‘ is a dark and slow-moving elegy centered around an ongoing and repetitive beat that will drag you into its ongoing hypnotizing progression and will leave
you in a state of puzzlement when the moony synths sequence has faded away quietly…
