Toronto Art Punks DELILUH Unveil Hypnotic Title Track From Upcoming LP – Here’s ‘BENEATH THE FLOORS’…
Brand new sonic impulses…
7 November 2019
At the end of next week Toronto‘s art punks DELILUH will launch their new album titled ‘BENEATH THE FLOORS‘ via Tin Angel Records. So far the band shared mind-cracking lead single Lickspitte (A Nut In The Paste) and puzzling groove, titled ‘‘Hymn‘ and now here’s the title track.
Frontman Kyle Knapp revealed the story behind the song: “It’s about a haunting. The song catches up with the storyline of the protagonist from the album’s opener, far away from the home and life he earlier opted to abandon. I wrote the story on the GO Train, on my way to
visit family in the countryside outside of Toronto.”
‘Beneath The Floors‘ is a dark and slow-moving elegy centered around an ongoing and repetitive beat that will drag you into its ongoing hypnotizing progression and will leave
you in a state of puzzlement when the moony synths sequence has faded away quietly…
