Sweet sensation BILLIE EILISH played a couple of shows last weekend in Los Angeles. For each one she invited guests. So she did last night too with Dave Grohl for a gripping, acoustic rendition ofFoo Fighters‘s 1997 classic MY HERO (almost 300 million streams on Spotify).

More than 7 million views in 14 hours with her new song. Not bad, but does that
mean BILLIE EILLISH is any good? To be honest I was skeptical at first until
I saw her performing her blockbuster hit ‘Bad Guy‘ last year at Glastonbury.
It’s not that I became an obsessed fan – no, I’m’ not that young anymore – but you
can’t argue about her immense talent, her irresistible charisma and totally cool attitude, being what she wants to be. A bona fide teenage phenomenon. Move over, old has-been rockers and fake celebrities.
Writing and making music with her best friend, her brother Finneas, she rules
the teenage world. And with new playful hip-pop single THEREFORE I AM she
confirms that, once again.
Young superstar BILLIE EILISH shared a live session she did for NPR’s famous Tiny Desk Concert Series which (due to that nasty
coronavirus) was recorded at her home.
She performed a couple of songs with Finneas, her
beloved brother and musical partner in beautiful crimes.
“Obviously we are not actually at Tiny Desk, because this is a cardboard cutout of it. But it’s still real – it’s just not in-person real.” said Billie between songs. She also said everyone should have at least one person in their lives that will make you feel you’re never alone like her brother is for her. She also talked about the pandemic crisis: “We’ll be OK one day. Maybe not right now. I think that’s what’s making me hold on.”
If you still think Eilish is just a hype, take a seat, open your mind and ears and watch this…
After releasing her million seller album ‘When We We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go’
this year, the 17-year Los Angeles old teenager Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell aka BILLIE EILISH, who already issued her first single in 2016 and EP in 2017, became a massive super star.
And now she dropped new single called ‘everything i wanted’, a song again written and produced by herself and her brother FINNEAS and is about their sibling bond. “This song
is one my brother and I wrote about each other. No matter what happens, we always have been and will be there to make it better” says the young artist. The new soft track is pure Eilish. Moony, dreamy, tender and electronic with her whispering voice all over it.
