Black Sabbath
Image Of The Day – BLACK SABBATH & FRIENDS
8 July 2025
Last Saturday metal pioneers BLACK SABBATH (1968–2006, 2011–2017) waved
goodbye to the world with a gigantic concert featuring a mammoth cast of other metal/hard rock titans such as Slayer, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Billy Corgan,
Alice In Chains, Pantera, Anthrax, Lamb of God and so many more (see poster above).
Famous rock photographer Ross Halfin got some of them together for a sort
of class reunion picture with, of course, king Ozzy on his throne in the middle.

Last Night BLACK SABBATH Went ‘PARANOID’ For The Final Time
Daily electricity to load your batteries
6 July 2025
Last night, heavy metal pioneers BLACK SABBATH played their final concert in
their hometown of Birmingham (UK) with a monstrous, once-in-a-life-time bill of
metal giants. The whole event was billed as Back To The Beginning.
The Prince of Darkness, OZZY OSBOURNE was, of course, the voice/face of the memorable night. Lately, the former madman deals with several health issues, including Parkinson. He performed, seated on a throne, a short solo-set with his own band and ended playing with his old Sabbath colleagues, their indestructible classics ‘War Pigs’, ‘N.I.B.’, ‘Iron Man’ and their ultimate jaw-dropper ‘Paranoid‘.

JUDAS PRIEST Honor Peers BLACK SABBATH With A Jaw-Dropping ‘WAR PIGS’ Cover
Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine
3 July 2025
This Saturday, July 5th, metal overlords BLACK SABBATH
play their final concert in their hometown of Birmingham (UK)
with a giant cast of support acts.
Sabbath‘s peers JUDAS PRIEST are not on the list as they’re on a tour
of their own, but they want to honor Ozzy & Co with a cover of 1970’s
anti-war anthem WAR PIGS.
JP played it regularly on their shows lately. For the occasion, they
recorded it in the studio and shared it with a video clip (see below).
Their take is pretty cool, even jaw-dropping. Legendary
frontman Rob Halford‘s performance is paranoid.
“Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan laughing, spreads his wings
Oh, Lord, yeah”
