NOEL GALLAGHER and his HIGH FLYING BIRDS released their new single
‘BLUE MOON RISING‘ today. It’s the title track off a new EP, out on 6th March.

Gallagher about the new single: “How it manages to combine the influences of Metallica,
The Jesters Of Malice, Mantovani, Robinson Crusoe as well as Bob Marley AND The Wailers
is literally beyond me… oh, and it’s not about City (note: the football club) by the way.”

With ‘Blue Moon Rising‘ Noel Gallagher continues his appetite for dancey tunes
which started with his previous EP ‘This Is The Place‘. To my ears the new track
has a sort of moody Chemical Brothers beat and turns brighter along its vibey way.
