Daily electricity to load your batteries

London‘s unbridled hit team BODY HORROR caught Turn Up The Volume‘s
attention with their flabbergasting 2021 debut single The Gimp’s Gimp.
A knife-cutting haymaker about SM for the rich.
BH is back now with a new jagged juggernaut called BEDWETTER about allowing yourself to get intimate with embarrassing truth. The ruthless 4.27 disco-punk headbanger starts with a booming techno bass beat, immediately followed by a wicked guitar riff that slashes his way throughout, and when spit-and-sneer vocalist Gethyn Thomas joins the party the temperature goes through the roof and causes a horrific out-of-your-body experience. Fucktastic.
Midway Thomas takes a breather while the battering beat goes on. When he returns,
his rant goes totally over the top for a mind-blowing climax. Unquestionably one of
the sassy standouts I heard all year long. FACT!

Band: BODY HORROR
Who: Up and coming noisemakers
Single: THE GIMP’S GIMP – debut single
Score: A chainsaw intro followed by manic drum thwacks
and a frenetic bass force, and a bit later a nightmarish voice
joining the freaked-out get-together. All this brain-breaking
stuff happens in under a minute. Hallelujah!
From there on this fanatical bulldozer tests your stereo’s flexibility
with furibund guitars going mental. Far-out funk for the wicked.
And as far as I can detect this hammering haymaker is about a sort
of take control sadomasochism for the rich. Damn you, bastards!
Hail hail mean machine Body Horror.
