Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

18 June 2024

72-year-old bassist and funk master BOOTSY COLLINS started his
illustrious career in James Brown‘s band in the early 70s. Afterward
he joined George Clinton‘s Parliament-Funkadelic troops (also still
active).

The flamboyant and star-eyed looking Collins released his first
solo LP in 1976 and has just finished the recordings of his 23rd.
It’s tongue in cheek baptized ALBUM OF THE YEAR #1 FUNKATEER
and will hit the streets on October 25.

It features several guests such as Snoop Dogg, Dave
Stewart, Wiz Khalifa, October London
, and Fantaazma.

The first taster is the old skool shake your hips and your booty
title track, featuring Myra Washington and Bootdullivan.

Here we go.
