TENACIOUS D Cover BRITNEY SPEARS One Time

10 March 2024

Madcap actors rock duo TENACIOUS D featuring Jack Black and Kyle Gass
scored a cover of BRITNEY SPEARS‘s 1999 smash hit …ONE MORE TIME,
more than 760 million streams on Spotify.

The cover is part of the soundtrack of movie Kung Fu Panda 4.

I hoped they would trash the song in a sort of funny punk way, but
they actually kept it pretty clean, yet pretty catchy and thumbs up
for Black‘s powerhouse voice.

The accompanying video was filmed at the premiere of the film last Sunday in L.A.

Black: “Britney, if you’re watching, I love you. I love the song. I’m here! I’m ready when
you are. I’m waiting by the phone,” he said. “I got kicks! I don’t quite have Britney kicks,
but you know, I got some moves.”

FRIPP & TOYAH (Sexy As Hell) Strike To #FreeBritney

8 March 2021

ROBERT FRIPP (best know as member of legendary prog-rock band King Crimson)
and his equally famous British wife TOYAH WILLCOX (8 top 40 hits and over more
than 20 LPs) continue their weekly Sunday lunch cover sessions. And it’s getting
better and better.

This time they want to set Britney Spears
free with her mega 2003 hit Toxic.

Robert is looking at Toyah – sexy as hell – as if he sees the classic
movie Clockwork Orange for the very first time. I love it, I love it!

Don’t miss the Britney message and
blooper in the end! JUST HILARIOUS!

I’m addicted to you
Don’t you know that you’re toxic?
And I love what you do
Don’t you know that you’re toxic?…
