Yesterday was the first day of the huge Belgian Pukkelpop Festival.

Best performance, to my ears was, unquestionably, by NYC’s indie bigwigs
GEESE who caused goose-bumps with their wayward, impassioned rock buzz
and their charismatic frontman Cameron Winter blessed with a formidable
voice.

Their dumbfounding 4th LP Getting Killed came out last year.

PITCHFORK’s SONG OF 2025

their end-of-the-year lists (best song/album/concert/video etc).

Renowned American music website PITCHFORK picked CAMERON WINTER‘s feverish Beirut-esque musing LOVE TAKES MILES, from his solo album Heavy Metal, as their best song of the year.

Winter is the frontman of popular NY rock band Geese.
