CELL GAMES – Irish Nu-Metal Blasterers Hit Hard With Their New Doomsday Slam ‘HELLWORLD’

Vitalizing tunes that work faster than a stream of caffeine

9 June 2026

Band: CELL GAMES
Who: 4-piece who are the proud torch carriers for Irish Nu-Metal since
their inception in 2021. The band rip up the rule book, avoiding the pitfalls
of any troupes and preconceived notions of the genre, spitting back their
own inimitable sound.

Pop culture references are a red thread that run throughout the Cell Games
catalogue so it’s unsurprising that their name came from the humble beginnings
of Dragon Ball Z marathon.

Track: HELLWORLD

TUTV: From the kick-off, your head gets crushed by a thunderous sonic force of nature empowered by schizo guitars and a fanatical drummer. Demonian howls accentuate this bursting belter’s ominous theme. Doomsday is just around the corner. No exit way. We’re trapped.

It’s the end of the world as we know it, and it feels cell games fine.

CELL GAMES – Irish Nu-Noise Junks Chrash Your Skull With ‘WITCHES x BITCHES’

Daily noise that works faster than a stream of caffeine

17 December 2024

Band: CELL GAMES
Who: Deafening Irish nu-metal gang coming up with crushing riffs and
thunderous drums, socially conscious and with a sardonic twist that
set them apart.

Track: WITCHES x BITCHES

“The song aims its forked tongue at the unfortunate growing prevalence of people gravitating towards the manosphere, a mis-guided misogynistic movement, with
the title being taken from a conversation overheard on some public transport.”

TUTV: Who let the nu-metal dogs out? This is no game, it’s a party, a VERY LOUD one.
We need to go berserk once in a while, in the ugly wartimes we live in, in order to survive.

Enter your new favorite witches and bitches, who turn you into a hopped-up headbanger on steroids, jumping from left to right and back like a punk kangaroo. Fucking fun, right? You betcha. About time to wake up and start a one-man-woman moshpit.

Right here, right now.
