THE BABY SEALS – Check Out These Punkettes’ New Self-Satisfying Steamroller The BBC Will Never Play

Daily electricity to load your batteries

8 February 2024

Band: THE BABY SEALS
Who: Three DIY mavericks from Cambridgeshire (UK)
who released their debut EP back in 2017.

New single: VIBRATOR
The second new shared track, following the raging Mild Misogynist one,
from their upcoming debut album, named Chaos, landing on April 19th.

TUTV: I hadn’t a clue whatsoever what magic powers a vibrator could unleash
with a hot-blooded female indie band. Now I know, and you should know too.

The Baby Seals get all punked-up, cranked-up, and heated-up by it. They rattle,
rumble and roll on this new jagged garage jackhammer with self-satisfying panache
and badass brio. As the temperature and the decibels go up along the steamroller’s turbulent course the girls storm towards an orgastic finale. Wowzers. I wonder if
the BBC would play it. No chance, they’ll ban it, it’s too coming good.

“Oooh vibrator
Don’t slut shame her
Oooo mass debater
Celebrate her!”

Baby seal Kerry about the accompanying video: “I dance around my bedroom a lot – it’s a pretty good thing to do, (do it as much as you can) and with a small budget and limited time (my 2 year old was taken out for the afternoon so we had a couple of hours to play with) I thought us twatting around the bedroom would be a good setting for Vibrator. Liam did wonders with the video and really got it where we wanted it.”

THE BABY SEALS – Garage Frenzy At Its Sharp-Teethed Best With New Single ‘MILD MISOGYNIST’

Daily noise that works faster than any stimulant

11 January 2024

Band: THE BABY SEALS
Who: Three DIY mavericks from Cambridgeshire (UK)
who released their debut EP back in 2017.

New single: MILD MISOGYNIST
From their upcoming debut album baptized Chaos.

TUTV: The Baby Seals have that roaring rawness, unbridled roughness, genuine gusto
and spontaneous bravado, Sleater-Kinney had back in the 90s. These three punk Amazons resonate more like Courtney Love when she went mental with Hole ages ago. Garage frenzy rock at its sharp-teethed DIY best.

Mind you, SK still come up with top tunes, but their polished by overpaid producers
to conquer the charts, but when The Bay Seals hit my speakers for the first time, I heard
a top tune you can scare mild misogynists with. Hell yeah! Bring on the album.

The accompanying self-made video is sheer fun.
