The COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL is one of the best-known festivals on this planet, both for its location – the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert (sounds utterly cool, right?) – and its massive, varied line-ups. As the event comes early in the year (April) it has not much competition either.

On the occasion of the announcement of the artists of the 2023 edition – from Friday 24 April to Sunday 30 April (poster below) Stereogum published all posters since the festival started up back in 1999. Turn Up The Volume picked 5 with his fav programmation.
