DEATH IN VEGAS Releases First Album In 9 Years ‘DEATH MASK’ On June 6th – Hear All 3 Singles

28 May 2025

Act: DEATH IN VEGAS
Who: The musical project of English producer Richard Fearless who launched his psychedelic electro run back in 1994. Since then, six albums were released, with
a star cast – Iggy Pop, Liam Gallagher and Bobby Gillespie to name a few – to deliver
vocals.

New album: DEATH MASK
The 7th one, ready to be unleashed
on June 6th. Pre-order info here.

Album artwork

Fearles: “Some of the gear I use has a tendency to take on a life of its own — for example,
the Effectron delay, which Arthur Russell also used. It was feeding back on itself, and ended up sounding like a radio conversation — literally voices from within the machine. On the Echoplex, the tape has never been changed. It’s eroded by the hands of time. When you record over the tape, things bleed in from what was there before, like people from the past.”

Singles (so far): Death Mask / While My Machines Gently Weep / Your Love

BLACK MARKET KARMA – British Psych Outfit Release New LP ‘MELLOWMAKER’ On June 6th

26 May 2025

Band: BLACK KARMA MARKET
Who: London-born, Dartford-based unit formed
in 2011 by singer-songwriter Stanley Belton.

Album: MELLOWMAKER
Their 12th longplayer overall, their 2nd for Fuzz Club,
following last year’s Wobble LP. It’ll land on June 6th.

Album artwork

Crafted entirely by Stanley Belton —who writes, records, and produces everything himself— the record embraces analogue imperfections and tape wobble, splicing them with modern techniques to create a “cassette-ified” lo-fi psychedelia blending ‘60s pop, ‘90s neo-psych, and crunchy hip-hop breakbeats.

Belton: “Mellowmaker was made immediately after Wobble, I kinda see them as two sides
of each other. With these two albums I’ve attempted to crystallise how it feels to be stuck between a feeling of amnesia of the soul and the earthly experience of piloting a meat suit…
I’m still chasing that longing intangible ‘Hiraeth’ feeling. The sense of wanting to find our way home to a place that maybe doesn’t exist.”

EZRA FURMAN – Chicago’s Evocative Songstress Releases 10th LP ‘GOODBYE SMALL HEAD’ Next Month

30 April 2025

Artist: EZRA FURMAN
Who: Flaring singer-songwriter from Chicago. He started
his career with a band called The Harpoons who released
3 albums.

New album: Goodbye Small Head.
It arrives on May 16th. Pre-order info here.

New album artwork

Furman: “Twelve songs, twelve variations on the experience of completely losing control, whether by weakness, illness, mysticism, BDSM, drugs, heartbreak or just living in a sick society with one’s eyes open. These songs are vivid with overwhelm. They’re not about someone going off the rails, they are inside that person’s heart. The songwriting here is a revision to William Wordsworth’s famous proclamation that “Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility.” I can agree with that, except for the tranquility part. This poetry, my poetry, arrived in the midst of the storm. It was written as I teetered toward the edge.”
