Happy 75 To NODDY HOLDER – Loudmouth Of Glam Rock Legends SLADE

15 June 2021

Neville John “Noddy” Holder was born on 15 June 1946. Happy 75 to the
brilliantly loudmouthed frontman of glam rock legends SLADE who scored a
stunning series of massive get-down-and-get-with-it hits in the 70s. He left the
band in 1992, starting a new career as radio presenter, television personality,
actor and voice-over artist. Back in 1980 after Bon Scott, singer of legendary
hard rockers AC/DC passed away he was asked to replace Scott. Holder said
no: “My loyalty is to Slade”.

Well alright everybody, let your hair down
Want to see everybody get up off their seat
Clap your hands stamp your feet, get down
get with it

Three big Slade moments to
celebrate Noddy‘s birthday…
