14 September 2025
Sackville, New Brunswick.
Band: CAGED ANIMALS
Who: American indie act based in Sackville, New Brunswick led by Vince Cacchione.
So far they delivered 4 albums. You can check them here. Number 5 is coming up.
Track: CROW
Newest single from new, 5th full-length, titled
Make Strange Friends. It’s out on October 31.
Cacchione (co-founder/songwriter): “Crow imagines a prisoner at the nearby Dorchester Penitentiary looking at that same crow and bringing his own story to its stark symbolism and deciding to tattoo it on his forearm. It’s a song about captivity, transcendence, and the strange ways we reach for hope during a hopeless time.”
Tenderhearted vocals. Weeping guitars. Warm saxophone.
Mesmeric Americana melancholia for quiet moments.
