PHOENICIAN DRIVE Enthralls With Acoustic Version And Live Clip Of ‘DEEP MORNING’

2 May 2020

PHOENICIAN DRIVE is a fascinating Brussels six-piece formed in 2015 by percussionist Diego Moscoso. With musicians from different backgrounds, in order to make drums
and fuzzy guitars meet with oud and Eastern percussions, his work is inspired by music traditions from all around the Mediterranean and psychedelic rock.

Yesterday, on Labor Day, they launched a clip for one of their top tracks DEEP MORNING recorded and filmed in early December 2019 in Brussels in the basement of the artistic space Un Peu in the city center of Belgium’s capital. It is one of the pieces of the acoustic repertoire that the group wrote during the year 2019.

This special performance has an instant magnetic impact. Its gloriously lively, highly spirited, and enthrallingly exotic sonourness activates your body’s movements, your bloodstream’s flow, and your adrenalin production. Deep Morning brings sonic joy in
these surreal lockdown days. Move all your furniture and shake your hips in ecstasy
while Deep Morning blasts out of your speakers. This is a vivacious and bewitching
jam that’ll put a big smile on your isolation face. Open your windows and doors and
let your neighborhood get into the action too, from their homes.

Get up, stand up and dance…
