PICK OF THE DAY – Committed Irish Pop Quartet DOTT Swings ‘LIKE A GIRL’…

Daily fuel to load your sonic batteries…

3 May 2018

Band: DOTT (Galway, Ireland)

Track: LIKE A GIRL – it’s the first single from the band’s upcoming, sophomore album ‘Heart Swell‘. A song paying tribute to the people in Ireland fighting for Women’s Rights.
The song features a guest appearance from Sadie Dupuis from Speedy Ortiz.

Score: This is a pretty mighty cracker. An amplified mid-tempo pop stroke that rolls, rumbles and reverberates all the way, injected with lively harmonies and a, sticky as first-class glue, chorus. Unfortunately, although this is the 21st century of humankind, women aren’t yet viewed as totally equal to men by many male idiots and their so-called modern society. A crying shame. On the other hand, facing this uncivilized reality it’s great to see artists like this coming up to sing about and fight against this ongoing disgrace. Join them and scream along right here…
