DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS, the veteran rockers from Athens, Georgia will release their 12th studio album, called THE UNRAVELING on 31 January. Last November they already
shared ominous lead-single ‘Armageddon’s Back in Town’.
And here’s another new piece, titled ‘THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS‘. A reflective country-rock song with crystal clear protest lyrics. The band criticizes the government, who’s in bed with the NRA (National Rifle Association), for doing nothing, absolutely nothing to avoid terrible mass shootings as happened so many times before in the US. Only ‘thoughts and prayers‘ from the White House after each deadly tragedy is not enough, it’s damn high time for action. Here’s the lyrics video condemning emphatically the gun laws and its immensely deplorable consequences…

Southern veteran rockers DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS have been rolling for more than twenty years now, almost unceasingly, and they have no intention to do the opposite soon. The band just announced their 12th studio album, called ‘THE UNRAVELING’, for release early next year.
The title of the first single ‘ARMAGEDDON’S BACK IN TOWN’ is crystal clear. The Truckers are most aware while dealing with the day-to-day hassles of traveling and touring their home country, that things are at a breaking point. Doom and gloom are just around the corner in the Divided States Of America. Here’s their hefty wake-up call…
