Band: TALLEEN
Who: Talleen are a post-punk band from Montreal who’ve been
been described as “sleazy and angular modern rock.” Formed in
2015, they released their first recordings online in 2016 and built
a local following with high-energy live shows, opening for bands
like Idles, Temples, Odonis Odonis, and Viagra Boys

New single/clip: ECONOMICS

Alex Crow (drummer): “We wanted to reflect how our society can
sometimes be shrouded in mystery and symbolism, money being the
driving force behind the illusion.”

Turn Up The Volume: Bang Bang Bang! Economics hits hard all the way.
Expect a fuzzing and buzzing uppercut to the face of the ruthless rich. Fierce
drums, deranged Keith Levene guitars, and a dominant bass bluster all come
together in a sharp-cutting jam, while manic singer Alex Petersen spits and
sneers a bleak tale of unfettered capitalism. His howling outcry is packed
with anger and frustration. A furious punk blast! Talleen is not dead, they’re
alive and kicking with force.

The brand new video was directed by Alex Ortiz (We Are Wolves).
