UK No. 1 single FIRESTARTER today, 30 years ago,
on 18 March 1996.
It featured on their 3rd LP
The Fat Of The Land.
The ferocious hammer credited, among others, The Breeders’ Kim Deal,
as the looped wah-wah guitar riff in the song was sampled from the band’s
track S.O.S. from the album Last Splash.

Nothing or nobody can stop TOYAH, her husband/soulmate ROBERT
FRIPP and friend Sydney from going loco every week – since April 2020 –
with their Sunday Lunch cover sessions.
This time they picked a not-so-obvious, but fitting, cracker from British
electro bulldozers The Prodigy. Again their hilarious performance will
put a big smile on your face.

KEITH FLINT, the flamboyant, charismatic and 100% full-blooded frontman of techno legends THE PRODIGY, was born on 17 September 1969. He would have turned 50 today. Unfortunately the troubled artist took his own life this year, on the 4th of March. A
truly sad loss for his family, friends and fans!
Let’s not forget this outstanding performer. Happy 50, Keith, wherever you are!
