Tracks From New Albums That Should Have Been Singles – Epic Pearl ‘KRAKEN’ By FLORENCE + THE MACHINE

5 November 2025

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE started as a band in 2007, and
became, over the years, the musical vehicle for British songstress
Florence Welch.

Last weekend her album No. 6, named EVERBODY SCREAM
came out to euphoric critics all around.

It features several stand-out tracks, including the 3 singles,
Everybody Scream, Sympathy Magic and One Of The Greats.

My non-single favorite is KRAKEN. A mini rock opera
chant, with a grand big choir chorus. An epic pearl.

FLORENCE + MACHINE Share 3rd Taster From Upcoming 6th LP – Hear/Watch Orchestral Pop Saga ‘SYMPATHY MAGIC’

Vitalizing tunes that work faster than a stream of caffeine

28 October 2025

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE , is the moniker for singer/songwriter Florence Welch
who started the project back in 2007 with keyboardist Isabella Summers who actually was the architect of F+TM’s sound, and guitarist Rob Ackroyd, drummer Christopher Lloyd Hayden and harpist Tom Monger. For several years the act is centred around Welch.

This Friday album No. 6, named Everybody Scream will be released.
But first, we get titillating taster number three SYMPATHY MAGIC.

Welch co-wrote and produced the song with two very different collaborators,
the National’s Aaron Dessner and lauded dance-pop adventurer Danny L. Harle.

The result is a juggernaut of an orchestral pop saga.
The accompanying video will impress your eyes.

At the very start you’ll see Welch bare naked from the back for 5 seconds.
So it’s marked as age-restricted. OMG. All over the Internet media show horrible images/video’s from the wars in Gaza and Ukraine on a daily basis, without any
age-restriction. As usual hypocrisy rules.

20 August 2025 – PICTURE OF THE DAY

British pop act FLORENCE + THE MACHINE are back in town. In a press statement,
they revealed the artwork for their 6th LP, titled Everybody Scream, which will show
up at Halloween.

And that’s it. No first preview track, no tracklist, or other related info. Looks like
Florence Welch is still relaxing, after finishing the recordings of the new full-length.
