THE FLAMING LIPS, the Oklahoma experts of turning surreal fairy-tales into melo-dramatic gems have already been busy this year. They worked with Californian blues-
rock tandem Deap Vally on one of this year’s best albums under the moniker of Deap Lips and covered He Stopped Loving Her Today, a heartbreaking reverie by country legend George Jones for the movie Arkansas.
